Gay Friendly Business

High Point Cafe serves as a staple in West Mt. Airy in Philadelphia. Not only are the cafes and wholesale roaster operations gay-friendly and inclusive, the company is active in the community. Click here for more information about High Point’s philosophy for roasting beans or their amazing pastries. If you haven’t had a crepe from High Point, it’s worth a trip to Mt. Airy.

Kawaii Cat Cafe

Kawaii is Japanese for cute! The Kawaii Kitty Cafe is Philadelphia’s premier cat cafe located in historic fabric row in the heart of Queen Village. One part adoption center, one part cafe mixed together in a relaxing atmosphere with all the comforts of home. While the cafe tries its best to accommodate walk-ins, the cat room fills up fast. They recommend making a reservation to secure your time in our cat lounge. Weekends tend to book a week ahead of time so plan accordingly. For more information on booking time in the cat room or to make a reservation, check out the cafe’s website.

You have never had fried chicken quite like this. This Southern-inspired chicken and sides are made with love by Todd and Laura Lyons. Hop over to their website and check out their sides: we’re especially excited about their cornbread muffin with honey butter! They also have seasonal desserts, a splendid mac and cheese that is not to be triffled with, and pick-up/delivery options.

N2 Sweet Cafe

N2 Sweet Cafe uses liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream almost instantly. The result is the smoothest, creamiest ice cream available. Check out the cafe’s signature flavors, or top off that ice cream with a variety of toppings. Check out the menu, which provides a number of options. Neil DeGrasse Tyson would be proud to see science used for such a productive – and tasty – end.
